Webinar om signalintegritet

Den 17. september kl. 14.00 afholder Ansys et webinar om signalintegritet, powerintegritet samt elektromagnetisk interferens (in english).

In a web seminar (webinar) Ansys will review conventional concepts in signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and show how these phenomena are closely related. Engineers and engineering managers who work with high speed data transmission or are confronted with EMI problems should attend this seminar.

Due to previous limitations in computer hardware and simulation algorithms, SI, PI and EMC have conventionally been treated as separate topics. For example, SI analysis assumes that signal traces have a well defined ground plane, while PI focuses on causes of induced noise in the power supply nets.


In each case, assumptions were necessary to make the analysis tractable. EMI is usually investigated in the laboratory at a late stage in the design process. Consequently, EMI problems often cause significant schedule delay and cost increase. This seminar will describe these phenomena and show how it is now possible to consider all of these affects in a combined manner early in the design process to help avoid EMI failure and redesign late in the design flow.
