Demoplatform med Intel Atom til mobile applikationer
Teleca understøtter ny Intel Atom baseret Android-platform til mobilt kommunikationsudstyr (in english).
Teleca, a world-leading supplier of solutions and services to the mobile industry, has announced support for the new Intel Atom processor-based platform across both Android and MeeGo based software stacks. The company, using its extensive systems integration expertise, built a demonstrator which offers an optimized, differentiated Android experience based on the latest Intel-based platform for mobile devices. It also announced support for future MeeGo-based solutions.
The Atom processor Z6xx series was recently introduced by Intel and is designed to deliver high performance for a visually compelling, full Internet based experience across smartphone and tablet market segments. Teleca worked closely with Intel and Aava Mobile to deliver this aforementioned demonstrator.
The work involved integration of multiple third party software solutions designed to demonstrate the performance of the Intel Atom processor. This includes TAT’s 'TAT Home' solution that provides a unique 3D UI experience, the AntiX game player to show off the power of the platform in mobile gaming and multi screen content management; and multiple rich graphics applications from Imagination Technologies taking advantage of the OpenGL ES 3D graphics pipeline of the platform.
- We were delighted to be working with Intel and to be able to bring our long track record and expertise to this project, says John Trobough, Senior Vice President and Head of Americas Organization at Teleca.
- The demonstration showcases the performance of the Intel platform and highlights the enhancements that Teleca was able to incorporate in a short period of time.
- The new Intel Atom processor represents a significant milestone for Intel - it enables us to deliver Intel Architecture with competitive power and industry leading performance for the smartphone market segment, says Pankaj Kedia, director of global ecosystem programs in Intel’s Ultra Mobility Group.
- We are glad to be working with Teleca who have pulled together a compelling solution of what the Intel Atom platform makes possible.
