Nye fleksible systemcontrollere

AAEON's FES-5120 er en fleksibel embedded systemcontroller med Intel Atom N270 processor (in english).

AAEON  has launched a brand new product line - Flexible Embedded Systems (FES). The FES series represents compactness, high flexibility, and convenience. The economically priced unit is another favorable reason for those who want to cultivate the embedded market, but have limited budgets and/or requirements.
 
The first model of the FES-5XXX Series is FES-5120, which is an x86-based system controller. The FES-5120 adopts the Intel Atom N270 Processor (up to 1.6 GHz) and features the Intel® 945GSE and ICH7M chipset.


The system memory equips 240-pin Non-ECC DDR II 400/533 DIMM socket (up to 2 GB) and consists of one Gigabit Ethernet for faster network communications. It also deploys multiple storage device options (2.5" SATA HDD, CF) with a mechanical design service window to ensure safe data and better on-site service support.

The compact size features the ability for the unit to be wall-mounted and fit into space-limited areas. Although the FES-6110 is a compact system, it carries enriched I/Os such as four COM ports, six USB 2.0 slots, and an 8-bit Digital I/O for a flexible connection with inside and outside devices.
 
The FES-5120 is a simple design with basic requirements that can be the ideal starter unit for any project. It equips four RS-232 ports and a single VGA display, says Sean Lin, Product Manager of AAEON Industrial System Division.
