Robust Micro USB til multimedia devices
FCI introducerer nu en pålidelig Micro USB konnektorer, der er fuldt kompatibel med USB 2.0 standarden (in english)
FCI introduces a new connector that complies with the physical, electrical and environmental requirements of USB 2.0 standard. The new Micro USB connector features an extremely small design as well as high reliability and rugged durability. This new connector is part of FCI's expansive USB family, widely used in mobile phones, MP3 players, PDAs, digital cameras and dozens of other devices used daily.
FCI's Micro USB is ideal for applications with space constraints. Approximately 60% smaller than the average mini-USB connector, the Micro USB provides high reliability while requiring little space, providing engineers a solution for the sleek, small designs of tomorrow.
- The Micro USB marketplace is expected to grow significantly over the next few years, and we expect this will also increase interest in standard USB (including USB Plus Power) and Mini-USB offerings, which is why FCI already offers a wide range of USB-compliant connectors for a wide range of applications, says Jennifer Zhang, global product manager, FCI.
The Micro USB Connector is RoHS-compatible and ensures direct data transmission among mobile devices without host and complies to USB 1.1 and 2.0 standards. Highly durable, the Micro USB has a passive latch mechanism preventing unintentional cable release and has a life span of 10,000 cycles. The connector's receptacles and plugs are available in a wide variety of mounting and termination configurations enabling it to be used in a wide array of devices.
FCI offers Micro USB B and A/B type receptacles (Standard; Mid-Mount and Reverse) as well as a B-type plug. For more information on the Micro USB connectors:
